MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Poly Welders for a long-term surface construction project in Mt Isa.

• Casual roles with the opportunity to transition to full-time
• Local Mt Isa role – all surface work
• 12–18 month project with ongoing opportunities

Please note: These positions are based in Mt Isa. Applicants must currently reside in the Mt Isa region or be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance may be available for suitable candidates.

The Role We are seeking experienced Poly Welders to join our team for a 12–18 month surface construction project in Mt Isa. You will be responsible for carrying out poly welding activities to a high standard while maintaining quality workmanship and a strong focus on safety. Starting indicative pay rates (under the Enterprise Agreement): $50–$60 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

About You
• Poly Welding Ticket
• Minimum 2 years' experience in poly welding
• Current driver's licence
• Experience working on mining, civil or industrial projects
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
• Additional tickets and experience that would be highly regarded include: Rigging, Dogging, Franna Non Slew, Excavator ticket, HR Licence
