We are partnering with a prominent Australian construction company seeking an engaging and adaptable People & Culture Manager to join their growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a well-rounded HR generalist to balance team leadership, end-to-end operational excellence, and high-impact strategic initiatives during a period of exciting business growth and transformation.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, you will lead a dedicated team of 2 (expanding to 3) while serving as a key operational pillar for the business. You will work alongside the Head of P&C to drive critical strategic projects that directly shape the employee experience and organisational maturity.
Team Leadership & Operations: Lead, coach, and develop a growing P&C team, fostering a supportive environment and ensuring smooth, efficient HR service delivery across the business. Strategic HR Projects: Partner with the Head of P&C to deliver core strategic initiatives, including the roll-out of a compelling EVP, HRIS integration, performance frameworks, and succession planning. Employee Relations & Compliance: Apply your strong understanding of Australian employment law to ensure robust compliance, practical risk management, and sound HR process governance. Generalist Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle across your Head Office portfolio, partnering with leaders and offering pragmatic advice and support across performance management, talent retention, and employee engagement. Change Guidance: Support business leaders through ongoing change and scaling, translating high-level strategy into practical, business-aligned P&C solutions.
About You
You are a seasoned P&C Manager or Senior HR Business Partner looking to step into a leadership role. who brings a strong technical foundation in HR processes, and Australian workplace legislation. You bring excellent partnering experience and are able to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
