Your new company

This growing resources-based company is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their small, yet growing payroll team. This permanent full-time position will be based in the Brisbane CBD which offers excellent end-of-trip facilities, various lunchtime dining options and public transport connections. The role will also offer 2 days work from home once settled into the role.

Your new role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Prepare and process various payrolls
  • EBA / Award interpretation
  • LSL calculations
  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Handle payroll enquiries from employees and managers
  • Assisting with system implementation as required
  • Assisting to setting up payroll procedures
  • Building relationships with key internal stakeholders, including site staff and management

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
  • Extensive payroll experience within a medium to large organisation
  • Experience working with multiple payroll systems
  • Strong general knowledge of payroll requirements and legislation
  • Excellent communication with strong rapport building skills
  • Ability to work in a fluid / changing environment
