About us Hanys Painting Pty Ltd is a trusted and reputable painting company based in Inner West Sydney. We provide painting services in Sydney.

About the role Due to rapid growth we are currently seeking experienced full-time (38 hrs per week) painters. Under general supervision you will perform work in painting, finishing and maintaining of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures.

Key duties and responsibilities:

· Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting;

· Removing, scraping, sanding old paint if required;

· Preparing surfaces to be painted by sanding, filling, dusting off and washing;

· Mixing paint colours and their application by brush, roller or spray;

· Washing equipment and clean work areas;

· Applying texturing and wallpaper on a variety of surfaces if required;

· Erecting scaffolding and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes.

Who we are looking for:

To be set up for success in this role, the right person will have at least 4 years of experience in domestic, commercial and strata painting. Formal qualification such as Certificate III in Painting and Decorating is desirable. An eye for detail and the skills to provide top quality workmanship, white card and driving license are essential.

You must be physically fit and be able to perform physical activities such as but not limited to lifting, bending, standing, climbing, walking; you must also be able to work at heights.

The salary range for this role will be $80,000- $85,000 per annum plus superannuation (depends on experience).
