The Company These established Outside of School Hours Care providers in Newcastle are dedicated to providing a well rounded OSHC experience for all students, with a focus on building lifelong habits that will aid them in a bright future. They are well founded in the children services and youth sector. They are looking for multiple Service Coordinators who are eager to assist in building on these active programs, as well as building on their well founded relationships with the school, parents and students. The Role The Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of day to day operations and delivery of the programs. The successful candidate will be proactive in their approach and confident in leading the team from the front. They will have experience in a similar role, devising programs and menus to promote a positive environment. They will work closely with the Area Manager to maintain a fun, safe and compliant environment. Available Roles:
Fixed-term contract Service Coordinator in Lambton (Maternity Leave contract) Permanent part-time Service Coordinator in Waratah (4 days - 33 hours/week) Permanent full-time Service Coordinator in Speers Point (5 days/week)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a dynamic team and provide Strong leadership, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment Experience in creating and implementing OSHC programs Oversee daily operations, adhering to policies, safety procedures and regulatory requirements Liaise with school committee to ensure overall operations are running smoothly Build positive working relationships with parents, guardians and the school community Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills Ability to follow development pathway to learn new skills and build your career
About You You are dedicated to achieving the overall goal for ensuring the children are safe and receive an enriching experience while attending the OSHC Program. You are professional in your manner, articulate yourself in person and via email, are adaptable to a changing environment and continue to maintain these in a confrontational situation.

Committed to safeguarding and hosting safe learning environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills to support relationships within the team, with the families and school.
Proficient in the use of technology and systems, such as Teams, Outlook and Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Office, and internal management platforms
Excellent people manager able to inspire a dedicated team
To be successful in this position, you must have:
Minimum Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor or Early Childhood or Primary Education Open to Education Support qualification that is working towards a Diploma of Bachelor of Early Childhood or Primary Education Previous leadership experience in OSHC or childcare Current Working with Children Check First Aid and CPR Certificate Child Protection Training/Safeguarding
