Vitonga Pty Ltd is seeking to recruit 20 casual harvest workers to pick oranges for the up coming harvest season on our orchard located approximately 30km from Forbes NSW. Approximately 9 months of work (April to December 2027) is expected to commence mid April all the way through to early December. No previous experience necessary. Candidates need to be:

  • Fit and healthy
  • Able to work 5-6 days per week
  • Can follow instructions and apply new processes quickly
  • Able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and punctual

The work is very physical and outdoors, you will need to work in a range of weather conditions. Successful candidates will be required for 7am starts or earlier depending on weather conditions and have to be able to commit to the full picking season. Successful candidates will be offered employment under a piece work agreement paying a rate per crate picked (for more information, refer to the horticulture award).
