Your new role

We are partnering with a Perth-based organisation to recruit an Oracle Technical Administrator to support and optimise a critical enterprise platform. This role sits at the intersection of platform administration, support, and technical enhancement, offering the opportunity to work hands-on with system integrations, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and ongoing evolution of the Oracle environment. Your key responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the Oracle platform, ensuring performance, stability, and security
• Provide Level 1 support, troubleshooting user and system issues in a timely manner
• Manage and support integrations between the platform and other enterprise systems
• Develop and maintain automation using automation and scripting tools
• Support application life cycle management including deployments, migrations, and environment management
• Implement enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives across the platform
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support system changes and upgrades
• Monitor system health, usage, and performance, proactively addressing issues
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across teams

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience administering Oracle platforms
• Strong understanding of platform configuration, security, and environment management
• Experience providing application support in a production environment
• Hands-on experience with scripting tools (e.g. Groovy) and automation tools
• Knowledge of system integrations, data flows, and interfaces
• Familiarity with application life cycle management processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
