Your new role
As a Business Services Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the firm's growing Business Services division. Managing a portfolio of quality clients, you will work closely with the Partners on complex compliance and advisory engagements while providing mentorship and guidance to a capable team of accountants.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of business and high-net-worth clients
- Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and related compliance work
- Providing business, tax and strategic advisory services
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Managing workflow, deadlines and team performance
- Coaching and developing intermediate and senior accountants
- Working directly with the Partners on complex engagements and growth initiatives
- Contributing to the ongoing development and success of the practice
What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- CA or CPA qualification
- 7+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting
- Previous experience managing client portfolios and staff
- Strong technical taxation and business services knowledge
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service
- A genuine interest in advisory work and mentoring junior staff
- The drive and ambition to progress your career within a growing firm
