Job description

We are currently seeking reliable Load & Scale Operators to join busy recycling and resource recovery sites. There are two site options available: Ipswich or Hendra. This position involves managing site access, processing incoming and outgoing loads, recording vehicle movements and entering accurate information into the company's in-house computer systems. Key Responsibilities - Manage site access for trucks, contractors and visitors - Record and process incoming and outgoing vehicle loads - Operate load and scale systems accurately - Enter load details, customer information and vehicle movements into in-house computer systems - Communicate with truck drivers, machine operators and site personnel - Check documentation and direct vehicles to the correct loading or unloading areas - Assist with general site administration and operational duties when required - Follow all site safety, environmental and traffic management procedures About You - Previous experience within construction, civil, recycling, waste management, quarrying or a similar industrial environment - Confident using computers and learning internal software systems - Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills - Comfortable communicating with drivers, contractors and site personnel - Reliable, organised and safety-focused - Able to work independently in a busy site environment - Valid driver's licence and reliable transport - Construction White Card highly regarded What's on Offer - $38.84 per hour plus overtime - 6:00 am starts - Site options in Ipswich or Hendra - Consistent hours and ongoing work - Supportive onsite team - Varied position combining site access, operations and administration - Opportunity to work within the recycling and resource recovery industry Applicants from construction, civil, recycling, quarry, transport or heavy industrial backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
