Human Resource Generalist/Co-ordinator

Job description

Your new company

A growing Australian logistics and supply chain business is seeking a HR professional early on in their career to support and strengthen its people function. With a strong reputation in its market and continued business growth, the organisation is investing in its people, processes and culture to support the next stage of its journey.

Are you a HR Coordinator ready to take the next step into a HR Generalist role? This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your HR experience within a close-knit and supportive business where your ideas will be valued and where you can play a key role in shaping the employee experience. Working alongside experienced leaders and HR support, you will gain exposure across the full employee life cycle while helping to enhance employee engagement, wellbeing and people processes across the organisation.

Your new role

This is an ideal opportunity for a HR Coordinator or developing HR professional looking to step into a broader HR Generalist role. Working closely with senior leaders and supported by experienced HR professionals, you will gain exposure to the full employee life cycle while helping to enhance people processes, employee engagement and organisational capability.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating end to end recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Managing employee life cycle processes, including probation reviews, contract variations and offboarding
  • Supporting managers with performance management and employee relations matters
  • Maintaining HR records, policies, procedures and compliance documentation
  • Coordinating learning and development initiatives
  • Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and recognition programs
  • Assisting with compliance, continuous improvement and process documentation
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to support operational and people initiatives
This role would suit somebody who enjoys variety, takes initiative and is looking to further develop their HR career within a supportive environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience within a HR Coordinator, HR Administrator or Junior HR Generalist role
  • Exposure to recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
  • The confidence to build relationships across all levels of the business
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
Experience within logistics, transport, supply chain, manufacturing or other operational environments will be advantageous but is not essential.

What you'll get in return

  • Exposure to the full employee life cycle within a growing organisation
  • The opportunity to broaden your HR knowledge across multiple disciplines
  • Great career growth and development opportunities
  • A supportive leadership team invested in your success
  • Flexible working arrangements and a collaborative culture
  • The chance to make a genuine impact while building your HR career
If you're a HR Coordinator or developing HR Generalist looking for the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
