About the opportunity

Graduate Support Nurse works within Learning and Development Team and is essential in supporting practical and applied learning opportunities for nurses in training lines such as Graduate, Postgraduate and Transition roles.

This role will support nurses in training lines in clinical areas and facilitate clinical skills assessments as required, working closely with Clinical Nurse Consultant (education) and Clinical Nurse Educators.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse, with postgraduate mental health nursing qualification

Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience within mental health settings

Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.

The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
