As one of the region's largest and most established GP clinics, it delivers high-quality, patient-centred care supported by experienced GPs, full nursing coverage, and modern facilities.
For GPs interested in combining traditional general practice with acute presentations, this opportunity offers access to both the established General Practice and the newly opened Mackay Urgent Care Clinic.
Beyond general practice, Mackay Medical Hub is connected to a broad community services precinct, including physiotherapy, mental health, podiatry, speech therapy, occupational therapy, hearing services, and NDIS support - creating a truly integrated care environment for patients and practitioners.
The Opportunity:
Guaranteed hourly rate for the first 3 months.
Predominantly a private billing clinic
Flexible arrangements - Full-time or Part-time
Work with Best Practice and Lyrebird
Access to opportunities at other Bupa Medical Centres as they open.
Strong earning potential in an established clinic
Shifts available in the UCC - join the team or casual pool
Mackay boasts beautiful beaches, lush rainforests, and proximity to the Great Barrier Reef, offering endless opportunities for outdoor recreation. Residents enjoy a tropical climate, with hot, humid summers and mild, dry winters - ideal for beach days, boating, and exploring nature.
About You
Current FRACGP, FACRRM (or equivalent)
Confident in working independently with a high level of clinical autonomy.
