Full-Time Human Resource Adviser SALARY $85,000 – $100,000 per annum + superannuation
DUTIES
• Provide advice and support to management and employees on human resource policies, procedures, workplace practices, and employment legislation.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, arranging interviews, conducting reference checks, and preparing employment documentation.
• Manage employee onboarding, induction, and probation processes to ensure effective integration of new employees into the business.
• Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and workplace investigations.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and review of HR policies, procedures, and workforce planning strategies to support operational requirements.
• Coordinate employee training and professional development programs, including mandatory workplace health and safety training and compliance training.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy and employment legislation.
• Assist with remuneration reviews, employment contracts, position descriptions, and organisational change or restructuring processes.
• Monitor compliance with the Fair Work Act, applicable Modern Awards, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies and procedures.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics, including recruitment activity, employee turnover, absenteeism, and workforce planning data, to support management decision-making.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience in recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Strong organisational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees and management.
Proficiency in English is essential.
