Position Title: Full-time Accountant

Annual Salary: A$80,000 + Superannuation Introduction: Alpha Corporate Property Services, one of the leading property management companies based in Dandenong, Victoria, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant for an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Duties:
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual financial reports including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
• Responsible for financial reporting and analysis on portfolios forecast and actual financial performance.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and payments as well as reconciliation of GST outgoings and incomings.
• Prepare month end report, manage accounts receivable/ payable.
• Develop, implement and keep updated all financial policies and procedures including internal control procedures.
• Stay updated with industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and financial regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports to support financial planning.
• Liaise with external auditors by preparing requested documentation and resolving queries during audits.
• Process payroll-related accounts in compliance with internal controls.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures, contributing to internal control improvements.

Skills and Experience:
• Minimum master’s degree in accounting.
• A minimum of 1 years of relevant experience is mandatory and preferably within facility management industry
• In depth experience in Sage & MYOB.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to details.
• Able to perform under pressure.
• Good team player.
