FRUIT HARVESTING – RIVERLAND, SOUTH AUSTRALIA

The Trustee for The Ingerson Family Trust is a family owned and operated citrus growing, packing and marketing business that requires up to 60 staff for the 2026/27 season.

Citrus fruit harvesting is casual employment and the employee will enter into a Piecework Agreement under clause 15 (Pieceworkers) of the Horticulture Award 2020 [MA000028]. The hours and location of work for citrus harvesting will vary daily depending on weather conditions and market demands.

In the case of hourly work, which may include pruning, weeding, and planting, the pay rate is in accordance with Level 1 of the Horticulture Award 2020 (or appropriate Level commensurate with experience).

Fruit harvesting is physically demanding work. Employees must be physically fit and capable of performing the repetitive and demanding nature of the work. This will include; carrying weight up to 20kgs, climbing a ladder, bending, and squatting. You will be required to pass an induction process and recruitment criteria/conditions such as manual handling assessment.

Our season is estimated to run from September to March. Employment will be for approximately 7 months from September 2026.
