LOCATION: In-person, at Laverton, Melbourne DATE: 7 October to 4 December 2025 REMUNERATION: $60 per hour + 12% superannuation

ROLES: French speakers with language teaching experience are invited to deliver a French language course for adult learners in a school setting. You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, 0800–1630 with a one-hour meal break.

DUTIES: -Deliver a French language course based on existing materials -Adapt lesson plans, conduct assessments and other administrative duties

• Review and enhance existing course materials
• Create engaging activities to consolidate learning
• Work under the supervision of other senior French teachers

Essential Criteria

1. Fluent in French.
2. University-educated, ideally in education or teaching
3. Minimum two years’ experience teaching/tutoring English or French to adults
4. Sound knowledge of different approaches to language teaching (for Beginners or Advanced students)
5. Deep understanding of daily life and society across France and the francophone world to support effective language teaching
6. Fluent in written and spoken English
7. Familiar in the use of IT in language delivery and course development.
8. Proven experience in course development
9. Experience in assessment management and marking
10. Experience in translation or interpreting is desirable
