This organisation plays a significant role in managing complex financial agreements, governance obligations, and long-term stakeholder commitments within a highly regulated environment. An opportunity exists for an experienced forensic accounting professional to lead a comprehensive review of historical financial arrangements, payment processes, and contractual obligations spanning more than a decade. This is a temporary 3 month role.
Your new role
Lead an end-to-end forensic review of historical financial agreements and related payment processes.
Review and analyse large volumes of financial, contractual, and operational data across a 10+ year period.
Validate financial obligations, payment calculations, and compliance with contractual agreements.
Reconcile financial system records against supporting documentation and document management repositories.
Identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, financial exposures, and process gaps.
Quantify potential underpayments, overpayments, timing variances, and associated financial impacts.
Prepare detailed, evidence-based reports and recommendations suitable for executive and audit review.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive senior-level forensic accounting experience conducting complex financial investigations and reviews.
Strong understanding of contract interpretation, financial obligations, and compliance frameworks.
Proven ability to reconcile large and complex historical datasets and identify anomalies or financial risks.
Experience reviewing end-to-end financial processes, controls, and governance arrangements.
Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate transactions spanning extended periods.
Experience working with Oracle ERP systems and document management platforms.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly to finance, legal, and operational stakeholders.
