Your new role

• Respond to building faults and maintenance issues, coordinating timely resolution with trades and contractors.
• Escort trades and service providers through secure areas of the building.
• Monitor and manage the facilities inbox, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
• Coordinate fleet vehicle movements, including bookings, maintenance, and usage tracking.
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives, including hazard identification and reporting.
• Assist with general facilities' upkeep.
• Liaise with building management, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs related to building maintenance and fleet usage.
• Provide general support across 10 floors accommodating approximately 400 FTE.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in facilities or building management, preferably within a government environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal staff and external contractors.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of WHS principles and practices.
• Current WA Driving Licence (essential).

What you'll get in return

• This is a full-time, office-based role with no work-from-home component.
• The role is based in the organisation's main office in Perth CBD, with occasional support required at smaller nearby sites.
• Hourly rate $63.55 + super
• 6 month temporary position, starting Monday 27th July
