Our client is a large and highly regarded organisation undertaking significant strategic growth and transformation initiatives. With a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and long-term financial sustainability, the organisation is seeking a commercially astute Financial Modeller to support critical business planning, investment analysis and forecasting activities across the enterprise.

Your new role

• Designing and maintaining complex financial models to support forecasting, pricing and strategic planning activities.

• Developing whole-of-organisation budget models and long-term financial forecasts.

• Modelling cash flow, workforce planning requirements and capital expenditure programs.

• Providing financial analysis and evaluations to support strategic business decisions and investment opportunities.

• Delivering scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to assess financial risks and opportunities.

• Supporting corporate finance, transaction-related activities and other special projects as required.

• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to translate operational drivers into accurate financial outcomes and recommendations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models within a complex commercial or corporate environment.

• Advanced Excel skills, including scenario modelling, forecasting and financial analysis.

• Demonstrated experience supporting budgeting, workforce planning, investment analysis and long-term financial planning.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link business strategy to financial outcomes.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and present financial insights to senior leaders and decision-makers.
