Job description

• Process and reconcile supplier invoices and payments (Accounts Payable)
• Manage debtor invoicing, receipting, and collections (Accounts Receivable)
• Perform bank reconciliations and daily banking activities
• Process corporate credit card transactions and reconciliations
• Maintain petty cash and financial records
• Prepare travel allowance and workshop payment requests
• Enter journals and assist with month-end finance activities
• Liaise with suppliers, staff, and external stakeholders regarding finance-related queries
• Assist with reporting requirements, audit preparation, and general finance administration
• Support the broader finance team with ad hoc duties as required

• Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper, or similar role
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience using accounting software, preferably Xero, MYOB considered
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Professional and friendly approach when dealing with stakeholders
• Previous experience within a not-for-profit or community-focused organisation will be highly regarded

• Up to 6-month temporary contract
• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
