A leading provider of integrated facilities management services, supporting some of Australia's most recognised organisations are seeking a proactive and technically minded Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of hard services, maintenance operations, and contractor management at a large-scale Industrial Site in Western Sydney. Your new role

As the Technical Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across a major industrial distribution centre. You will ensure building services, critical infrastructure, maintenance programmes, and contractor activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations

Key Duties
  • Manage all planned and reactive maintenance across the site
  • Oversee building services including HVAC, electrical, fire, hydraulics and mechanical systems
  • Lead contractor management, including procurement, inductions, permits, performance reviews and compliance monitoring
  • Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS legislation, policies and procedures
  • Manage work orders and maintenance activities through the CMMS system
  • Conduct regular site inspections, asset audits and condition assessments
  • Monitor service delivery KPIs and ensure contractual obligations are achieved
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and operational teams
  • Coordinate emergency response activities and business continuity requirements
What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working as a Facilities Manager or similar in an Industrial/ Critical Environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire and building systems
  • Proven experience managing contractors
  • Sound understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and permit-to-work systems
  • Experience managing maintenance programmes, asset lifecycle planning and compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of CMMS/work order management systems
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operational environment
  • Trade qualification, Engineering qualification or related technical background highly regarded

What you'll get in return

  • $60 - $65 p/h+ super
