Your new role

As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of building operations and services across a defined portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the operation and maintenance of base building services, including HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, fire, security, lifts, and cleaning services
  • Coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and risk
  • Overseeing contractors, ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards and contractual obligations
  • Managing CAPEX works and supporting asset lifecycle planning
  • Monitoring budgets, expenses, and financial reporting across facilities operations
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant building regulations, WHS requirements, and safety standards
  • Managing after-hours issues and responding to incidents or outages as required
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, tenants, and service providers

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management
  • Ideally relevant trade background
  • Strong understanding of building services, maintenance, and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience managing contractors and service agreements
  • Sound financial acumen with experience managing operational and CAPEX budgets
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work autonomously
  • Commitment to safety, risk management, and high service delivery standards
