Key Responsibilities:
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
• Provide high-quality nursing care to a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, and exotic species.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, radiography, and ultrasound.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary team.
• Monitor and assess animal health and behaviour, providing updates to the veterinarians.
• Mentor and train junior nursing staff and veterinary students.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing guidance on pet care and health issues. Qualifications:
• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a full function veterinary nursing role.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary medicine and surgery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• A genuine passion for animal care and welfare. What We Offer:
