Join a progressive and community-focused council and play a key role in maintaining safe, welcoming, and well-managed public spaces for local residents. Your new role As a Ranger, you'll be the face of the council in the community, ensuring local laws are upheld while building positive relationships with residents, businesses, and stakeholders. No two days are the same, with responsibilities ranging from patrols and investigations to compliance activities and community education.

Enforce local laws and regulations across the municipality
Investigate and respond to community complaints
Conduct patrols of public spaces and council facilities
Educate residents on responsible behaviour and compliance requirements
Work collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders to promote community safety

What you'll need to succeed

ROCS 1 & 2 (Essential)
Previous Ranger
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Current WA Driver's Licence
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Sound understanding of relevant legislation and local laws
