Hays Trades & Labour is partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing Canberra-based trade services provider. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to establish and lead a residential electrical division. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to transition into a senior leadership role while remaining closely connected to the industry.

Your New Role
As the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing residential electrical team while overseeing the growth and success of the division. Your duties will include:

Building, leading and mentoring electricians and apprentices Establishing systems and processes for a growing electrical department Providing technical advice and operational support when required Reviewing quotes, job reports and completed works Assisting with scheduling and resource planning Visiting sites to resolve technical issues and support field staff Developing team capability and driving performance Building strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service Promoting a positive culture focused on safety, quality and professionalism

What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current unrestricted Electrical Licence Extensive experience within residential electrical services Previous leadership, management or business-building experience Strong ability to mentor and develop tradespeople and apprentices Excellent client relationship and communication skills Strong organisational and planning abilities A proactive and solutions-focused approach Commitment to delivering quality workmanship and high customer satisfaction
