COOK REQUIRED – FULL TIME

The desired candidate will be motivated and dedicated to work as well as being encouraged to demonstrate your creativity and skills during the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. You will work in a team of professionals who share your love of cooking & will be involved in the efficient running of a busy high-volume kitchen.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:
• Experience in fast-paced environments and high-volume conditions
• Have excellent time management ability and organisational skills
• Take pride in the work you produce and have passion for what you do
• Previous experience in high-volume, multi-venue operations is advantageous
• An enthusiastic attitude and a good work ethic
• Immediate start in busy restaurants
• An ability to work as part of a team and produce a consistent product is a must

Main tasks include: Planning menus, Preparing and cooking food for any special dietary requirements Monitoring quality and presentation of dishes of portion, placing on plates and garnishing. Season food as required Training other kitchen staff Regulate ovens, grills and other cooking equipment. Follow all health regulations and temperature requirements

This role requires full time, including some early mornings and late nights as well as weekends.
