CHP Service Technician / Mechanic (Full-Time)

Bundamba, Queensland 4304 Technicians (Trades & Services) Full time

Salary Range: $100,000 to $ 110,000 per annum (exclusive of super)

Our Award Winning client offers the best possible solutions in the fields of cogeneration, heat pumps and heat recovery technologies, by reducing energy costs for improved energy efficiencies using superior technology. They use the newest European Equipment to operate their OEM's and require a passionate and experience Service Technician / Mechanic to assist to the maintenance and up keep of their plants across Australia.

• Are you experienced in CHP or Co-generation Technology?
• Flexible in travelling interstate on a regular basis?
• Provide support to the National Service Manager in the Natural/Bio-Gas Industry?

YOUR ROLE The successful candidate will be primarily based at our Queensland office and may be required to travel to our clients’ sites interstate that will require services and repairs as required. This will also include installation, pre-commissioning and if required, commissioning assistance during the stage of EPC project execution. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate and facilitate regular visits to service sites which include carrying out varying mechanical tasks to test, repair and maintain internal combustion engines and peripheral parts
• Submit timely reports and service tasks to the corporate office
• Report to the National Service Manager, Project Managers and Engineers
• Assist engine breakdown service calls appropriately and efficiently
• Meet KPI’s, goals and objectives
• Comply with organisational policies, procedures, OHS and Safety procedures

ABOUT YOU Your extensive background as a service mechanic will be demonstrated in your skills and technical abilities in the renewable energy and bio-gas industry. You will be hands-on, demonstrating experience and continuous learning and passion with ongoing attention to detail in this emerging sector. You will also enjoy building your relationships with clients. To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Mechanical fitting/ engineering trade qualifications
• At least 7 years relevant work experience
• Aptitude for CHP’s or Cogeneration Technology solutions.
• Knowledge of gas and diesel engines and an understanding of Biogas equipment – AC Tanks, Gas Holders & Chillers
• Knowledge of OEM’s including 2G Energy, Jenbacher, MTU & MWM
• A commitment to Compliance, OHS and Risk Management
• Australian standards in Mech/Elec
