Chef / Cook / Kitchen Team Member Poulet & Porc | Chaar Northshore 221D MacArthur Avenue, EatStreet Northshore, Hamilton 4007 We’re looking for a solid, reliable cook/chef to join our team. We’re a busy setup, but we’ve built a great team culture where everyone gets along, has a laugh and backs each other up. We take the food and service seriously, but we enjoy the work while we do it. The role:
• Casual to start, minimum 30 hours a week
• Up to 40 hours on offer for the right person
• Real potential to move into a full-time role if it’s a good fit both ways
• Prep shifts Wednesday & Thursday
• Must be available Friday, Saturday & Sunday We’re after someone who wants to stick around and grow with us, not just pass through. It’d also suit someone studying commercial cookery who wants solid hands-on experience alongside their course. What we’re looking for:
• Strong work ethic and good energy during service
• Follows instructions and works efficiently
• Keeps busy and shows initiative
• Team-first attitude, no ego
• Passion for food and hospitality
• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen organisation
• Stays calm when it gets busy Experience in Greek food, charcoal/grill or fryer sections is a bonus, but attitude and work ethic matter most. What you can expect:
