About the role:

This isa great opportunityfor aChefor highly experienced Cook aiming to restore their work lifebalance and gain employment in one of Australia's fastest growing industries with the following tasks:

Prepare,cookand serve food in adherence with dietary requirements with a strong focus onfood safety standards.

Support senior hospitality staff members with menu design and implementation,

Promote quality standards andmaintainservice with standard operating procedures.

Role requirements:

As aChef,you'lltake pride in your presentation, be knowledgeable in relation to nutrition and have a keen interest on the impact of dietary requirements on our aged residents.

You will have proven experience in safe food preparation, storage and delivery, a clear understanding of WHS, be confident in medium-high volume meal preparation anddemonstratethe following:

Hold a relevant trade qualification Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Australia) or above

Have 3 years minimum experience as a qualified Chef

Great communicationskills and excellent attention to detail

Understanding of Australian food and beverage standards

Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
