Your New Role

You will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing strategic policy initiatives, including contributing to reform programs and projects Analysing data, evidence and information to inform policy development and support decision-making Preparing high-quality policy documents, including briefing papers, reports, presentations and correspondence Interpreting and applying relevant legislation and policy frameworks to ensure compliance and best practice outcomes Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support policy design, delivery and continuous improvement

What You Will Need to Succeed

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering strategic policy, including contributing to reform initiatives Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information to inform policy outcomes Experience preparing high-quality written materials, including briefs, reports, presentations and correspondence Sound understanding of legislative frameworks and the ability to apply these in a policy context Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and work with limited direction

The Logistics

Contract until 31st December 2026, with view of extension or permanency. Hybrid working arrangement. Hourly rate of $60.26 + super.
