Experience in grants management wanted! Your new company This high-performing program team delivers large-scale community funding initiatives across Australia. Their work supports a diverse portfolio of projects, including community and sporting facilities, open space upgrades and local development priorities that improve regional outcomes. With a strong pipeline of work underway, the team is seeking additional support during a key delivery phase. Your new role You will join as an APS5 Project Officer or APS6 Senior Project Officer, supporting either contract negotiation or program delivery. In contract negotiation, you will:

Manage multiple funding agreements in a fast-paced environment.
Apply program guidelines, templates and policies.
Prepare clear and accurate documentation.
At APS6 level, lead complex negotiations, resolve issues and provide advice. In delivery, you will:
Support grant administration activities including milestone payments, variations and reporting.
Monitor project progress and maintain accurate records.
Apply policy and sound judgement to a range of matters.
At APS6 level, manage complex delivery issues, stakeholder concerns and provide recommendations. Across both streams, you will:
Analyse contractual, project and grant information.
Prepare briefs, correspondence and recommendations.
Identify risks and escalate issues where required.
Maintain strong recordkeeping and quality standards.
Build and manage stakeholder relationships.

What you'll need to succeed At the APS5 level, you will have experience in:

Experience applying policy, procedures or guidelines in the Federal Government.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Well-developed written communication skills

Sound judgement when assessing applications, payments or reports. At the APS6, you will have experience in::

Experience managing complex grant or project administration work in the Federal Government.
Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve issues with incomplete information.
Ability to provide clear advice to support decision-making.
Experience managing stakeholder relationships, including sensitive matters. To be considered for this role you will need to be an Australian citizen and have a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
