APS3 Helpdesk Officer

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Helpdesk Officer to support a high-profile government environment. This is an excellent contract opportunity for someone with a strong IT or cybersecurity background and an active Baseline clearance.

Your new role In this role, you will provide frontline IT and technical support, assisting users with a range of system and access-related queries. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, managing requests, and maintaining system performance within a secure environment.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:

An active Baseline Security Clearance (essential) Prior experience in a Helpdesk, IT Support, or Service Desk role Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in IT and/or Cybersecurity Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, secure environment
