Your new role
An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established, national construction business. Based on the northern Gold Coast, this role offers exposure in a high volume and challenging environment, within a collaborative and supportive team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the accounts payable team. This is a hands-on position offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to further develop your finance career within a stable and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Process contractor invoices and reconcile timesheets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved records Follow up with labour hire providers to resolve discrepancies or missing documentation Manage company credit card administration, including coding, reconciliation, and compliance monitoring Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner Support the accounts payable function through three-way invoice matching (PO, goods receipt, invoice) Provide general accounts and administrative support, including assistance with reporting and month-end activities Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records and efficient processes

What you'll need to succeed

You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional looking to build on your accounts experience in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance support role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and time management skills Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across teams and external stakeholders A team-focused approach with a willingness to learn and grow
