Your New Role

Reporting into the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in keeping the office running smoothly while managing the end-to-end accounts payable function. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Full-function accounts payable processing
  • Invoice coding, matching and processing
  • EFT and credit card payment processing
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolution of queries
  • Front-of-house reception duties, including phone management and visitor coordination
  • Management of incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
  • Administrative support including filing, archiving and document management
  • Coordination of office supplies, maintenance and general office requirements
  • Assisting with internal meetings, presentations and company events
  • General ad hoc administration to support directors and project managers
This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is comfortable working autonomously within a busy office environment while supporting a team that is often working across various project sites.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a full-function Accounts Payable position
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end invoice processing and payment runs
  • Experience processing EFT and corporate credit card payments
  • Proficiency using accounting software
  • Beginner to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • Previous experience in reception, front desk or administrative support duties
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • A proactive, adaptable and team-oriented approach
