Your new company An exciting opportunity has become available to join a leading Defence organisation experiencing significant project growth and expanding capability scope. You'll join a highly capable multidisciplinary engineering team working across complex Defence platforms and mission systems, with excellent career development prospects, strong future project exposure and an attractive remuneration package. Your new role Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing Verification, Validation, Integration and Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities across complex Defence systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining Verification & Validation Plans (VVPs) Defining verification strategies across testing, analysis, inspection and demonstration Planning and executing T&E activities, including test procedures, schedules and acceptance criteria Supporting integration, qualification, acceptance and operational testing Participating in platform trials and capability demonstrations Maintaining requirements traceability and verification status Analysing test results and identifying deficiencies, risks and corrective actions Preparing verification reports, compliance records and engineering assurance documentation Supporting SRR, PDR, CDR and TRR engineering reviews Engaging with Defence, engineering, integration and project stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed To be considered, you will require:

Current NV1 Security Clearance or higher A degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline Experience supporting Defence acquisition or sustainment programs Experience across V&V, Systems Engineering, Integration, T&E or Engineering Assurance Experience developing verification plans, test procedures, verification matrices or requirements traceability Exposure to integration, qualification, acceptance, operational testing or platform trials Experience working with physical Defence platforms and systems, ideally maritime or land Strong systems engineering and lifecycle V&V knowledge Experience with DOORS, Jira, Confluence or similar engineering tools will be highly regarded.

Please note: This role is focused on physical Defence capability, platform and mission-system integration and testing. Candidates whose experience is predominantly ICT, enterprise software or business systems testing are unlikely to align with the requirements.
