Truck Driver (5 positions)

Supagas is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Truck Drivers to join its logistics team. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering LPG cylinders and other gas products while maintaining the company's high standards of safety, customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver LPG cylinders, bulk gases and gas tanker loads to residential, commercial and industrial customers in accordance with delivery schedules and Dangerous Goods regulations.
• Load, unload and secure cylinders and other products in accordance with transport regulations and load restraint requirements
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical faults or safety issues
• Complete delivery documentation, manifests and handheld device transactions accurately
• Collect empty cylinders and process returns in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations, road transport legislation and company safety policies
• Promote the company's "YES WE CAN" customer service philosophy while representing Supagas professionally
• Monitor cylinder compliance dates and identify damaged or faulty cylinders requiring testing or quarantine
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards for vehicles, equipment and work areas
• Communicate delivery issues, customer concerns and operational matters promptly to the logistics team
• Support efficient asset utilisation and assist in maintaining the security of company vehicles and equipment
• Build positive customer relationships and identify opportunities to promote Supagas products and services
• Participate in workplace safety initiatives and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment

Qualifications and Experience

• Appropriate Heavy Rigid (HR) or higher-class driver's licence
• Minimum one year experience operating heavy vehicles in a logistics, transport or distribution environment
• Experience transporting dangerous goods or gas cylinders will be highly regarded
• Sound understanding of load restraint requirements and road transport regulations
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
