The purpose of this role is to perform business, systems, and technical analysis to support the implementation, enhancement, integration, and ongoing support of the Department's critical school administration systems, including CASES21 Admin & Finance, eCASES, Student Insight (Digital Enrolment, Digital 6 to 7 Placement, LOOKOUT, School Entrant Health Questionnaire), eduPay, Salesforce, eduMaster, Mirror, VSR, eduHub, and other complex business applications across the Division.
Accountabilities
- Develop a strong understanding of integrated business systems within the School Systems environment to undertake business and technical analysis, solution design, process modelling, data analysis, and process improvement.
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate stakeholder needs into functional and technical specifications that support solution delivery.
- Analyse integration processes, data flows, ETL processes, APIs, and system interfaces across legacy and cloud-based platforms to identify issues and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical analysis and implementation support across Salesforce, Mirror, eduMaster, VSR, eduHub, CASES21, Student Insight, and other integrated enterprise applications.
- Support software quality assurance activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production verification testing, test scenario development, defect management, and validation of end-to-end business processes and data flows.
What you'll need to succeed
- Essential: Minimum 5 years' experience in Business and Technical Analysis or a related discipline, delivering analysis artefacts for high-complexity ICT projects.
- Essential: Experience using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Essential: Experience working with Salesforce.
- Essential: Demonstrated experience working with system integrations involving both legacy applications and modern cloud-based platforms (e.g. APIs, middleware, Salesforce, ETL processes, and enterprise integration solutions).
- Essential: Experience and understanding of database systems, data management, and data integration processes.
- Essential: Accreditation with Working with Children in Children's Services.
- Desirable: Qualification in Business Analysis or Technical Analysis (e.g. CBAP or equivalent).
- Desirable: Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Desirable: Strong working knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS) or similar enterprise applications.
