We are seeking a Student Health Promotion Officer for an immediate start. Initially offered as a temporary assignment, this role has strong potential to transition into a permanent position, making it ideal for an ambitious candidate looking to establish themselves within a supportive and purpose-driven environment.
Working within a collaborative wellbeing team, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering health promotion initiatives that create positive outcomes for a diverse student community.
Your new role
As the Student Health Promotion Officer, you will:
Develop and deliver engaging health promotion programs and wellbeing initiatives.
Coordinate impactful awareness campaigns, workshops and events.
Create educational resources focused on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive positive health outcomes.
Support student-led wellbeing programs and ambassador initiatives.
Evaluate program effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.
This is a highly visible role that will allow you to make a genuine difference while gaining valuable experience across health promotion, stakeholder engagement, project coordination and student wellbeing.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will ideally have:
A qualification in Health Promotion, Public Health, Social Work, Community Development or a related discipline.
Experience delivering health promotion, prevention, wellbeing or community-based programs.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities.
A proactive, positive and collaborative approach.
A genuine passion for wellbeing, education and supporting others to thrive.
Most importantly, you will be someone who is eager to learn, develop and grow your career within a values-driven organisation.
What you'll get in return
Competitive pay rate of $43.47 - $48.00 per hour + Super.
Equivalent salary package of approximately $85,000 - $90,000 + Super.
