Working within the ICT Operations Branch, you'll be part of a highly skilled Infrastructure Platforms team responsible for managing enterprise data centres, storage platforms, virtualisation, backup and recovery services, and infrastructure operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of secure, reliable, and modern technology services that underpin essential government operations.

Your new role

We are seeking multiple Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineers to support the administration, optimisation, and future enhancement of enterprise storage and data platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, managing, tuning, and troubleshooting storage infrastructure across physical and virtual environments. You will work with a range of enterprise technologies including HPE storage platforms, NetApp, Dell Data Domain, Brocade SAN environments, and backup solutions. You will also contribute to infrastructure design, documentation, automation initiatives, and knowledge sharing across the team.

Working within a complex ICT environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical infrastructure services while mentoring junior team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

Demonstrated experience administering and supporting enterprise storage environments
Strong knowledge of one or more of the following technologies:
- HPE 3PAR, Primera or Alletra Storage Systems
- NetApp E-Series
- Dell Data Domain
- Brocade Fabric Switches
- SANnav
- Scality Artesca
Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication
Ability to produce high-quality design, build, operational and support documentation
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working within large, complex enterprise ICT environments
Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
