Section Waiter – Ormeggio at The Spit

Located in the vibrant d’Albora Marina, Mosman, Ormeggio at The Spit is a lively Italian seafood fine-dining restaurant and cocktail bar. Renowned for its Two Chef Hats and consistent recognition among Australia’s top dining destinations, Ormeggio is home to an exceptional team of skilled professionals from around the world.

Since opening in 2009, our award-winning wine list has showcased the very best of Italy, alongside a thoughtful selection of French and Australian vintages—offering a truly engaging experience for wine lovers.

We are now seeking a passionate and professional Section Waiter to join our team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with fine-dining experience who is eager to grow their career in one of Sydney’s most acclaimed restaurants. Immediate availability is preferred, and full training will be provided.

Minimum Requirements:

Full Australian working rights Fluent English (Italian language skills highly regarded) 1-3 years of experience in fine dining or hatted restaurants, OR diploma-level completed hospitality studies Current NSW RSA Certificate Excellent grooming and presentation standards Strong food and wine knowledge, ideally with a focus on Italian cuisine Ability to carry three plates with confidence
