Jira-focused Agile role (not a Scrum Master role)

Key Responsibilities
Agile & Sprint Support

Support end-to-end sprint setup and execution, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Assist in preparing and organizing backlogs and sprint boards Ensure sprint activities are well-structured, tracked, and aligned to delivery goals

Jira Administration & Management

Partner with the Manager to configure and optimise Jira boards for Scrum teams Create, update, and maintain tickets, epics, and user stories within Jira Ensure accurate ticket structures, statuses, and definitions are consistently applied Maintain alignment between Jira workflows and Agile processes

Process & Workflow Support

Ensure Jira workflows reflect team ways of working and Agile best practices Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in backlog management and sprint tracking Provide hands-on support to team members using Jira

What you'll need to succeed Experience

Proven experience supporting Agile teams in a Scrum or delivery support capacity Strong hands-on experience with Jira configuration and administration Experience supporting sprint ceremonies and backlog management

Skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks (without needing to act as Scrum Master) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

Experience working on data, AI, or digital transformation projects Exposure to Digital Twin technologies, IoT, or mining/industrial environments Familiarity with analytics-driven or operational systems
