Experienced Roller & Water Cart Operators Required for a Major Road Upgrade in Mt Isa Your new company Join a leading civil construction project delivering a major highway upgrade in North West Queensland. This long-term infrastructure project will play a key role in improving regional transport networks, offering stable work, excellent camp facilities, and the opportunity to be part of a high-performing construction team. Your new role We are currently seeking experienced Roller Operators and HC Licenced Watercart Operators to support the construction of a new highway project near Mount Isa. Working on a 10/4 day-shift roster (10-hour days), you will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently while contributing to the successful delivery of road construction works. Key duties will include: - Operating Rollers or HC Watercarts on road construction and upgrade works - Following project specifications and site procedures - Conducting pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance - Working closely with supervisors and other operators to meet production targets - Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality standards What you'll need to succeed - Demonstrated experience working on civil construction projects, ideally road construction or highway upgrades - Relevant RII tickets/competencies for the machinery you operate - Current HC Licence (Watercart Operators) - Strong understanding of safe operating procedures - Ability to work effectively within a team environment - Reliable work ethic and commitment to project outcomes What you'll get in return - Penalty rates - 10/4 roster with all days worked on day shift - FIFO from Townsville, Cairns or Brisbane - Accommodation provided in Boulia camp-style dongas with all meals supplied, or accommodation in Mount Isa - Long-term project opportunities on a major infrastructure development - Supportive team environment and ongoing work for the right candidates What you need to do now If you are Interested in this role, click "apply now" or for more information and a Confidential discussion on this role or to find out about more opportunities in Resources & Mining contact Erinne at Hays on 07 4749 8399 or email Please click here to apply.
