POSITION TITLE: Carer EMPLOYER: Goodwin Aged Care Services Limited Location: Batemans Bay NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 2-3 roles COMMENCEMENT: As soon as practicable EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time (76 Hours Per Fortnight) HOURS OF WORK: Rostered Shift SALARY: ACEDC3, ($36.00 per hour) + Super + NFP Benefits

ABOUT THE ROLE: Goodwin Aged Care Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Carers to join our Residential Care team. The successful applicants will provide high-quality personal care and assistance to residents, supporting their wellbeing, dignity, and independence. Carers may work across multiple service streams including care, activities, catering, cleaning, and laundry to ensure the delivery of comprehensive support.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES · Deliver personal care and support in accordance with resident care plans. · Ensure timely completion of allocated tasks through effective prioritisation. · Report incidents and events affecting residents or the facility. · Uphold Goodwin’s culture of continuous improvement and compliance with organisational policies and legislative requirements. · Always promote a professional and customer-focused environment.
• Providing care and support to older people.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sound administrative and record-keeping ability TO PERFORM THE ROLE Candidate should have or be willing to obtain certificate 3 in Aged Care. WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY This role involves manual handling and potential exposure to biological agents or infectious diseases. Appropriate training and protective measures are provided.
