Position Overview: Bondi Junction Massage and Float Centre is a 30-year established professional Remedial Massage, Float Tanks and Natural Health Centre in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs at Bondi Junction.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to provide therapeutic massage treatments, address musculoskeletal imbalances, and improve overall wellness for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in a range of massage techniques and be dedicated to creating personalized treatment plans that support long-term health and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to identify areas of muscle tension, discomfort, soft tissue dysfunction, or injury requiring therapeutic massage treatment.

• Apply specialized massage techniques, including Effleurage, Petrissage, Friction, Kneading, Hacking, and Guasha, to massage the soft tissues of the body, relieve muscle tension, improve flexibility in muscles, tendons and fascia, promote relaxation, and enhance blood circulation.

• Assess and treat soft tissue dysfunction through therapeutic massage to relieve musculoskeletal pain and discomfort, improve mobility, and provide rehabilitation advice, including stretching exercises and relaxation techniques where appropriate.

• Clearly explain the objectives, benefits, and techniques of massage treatments to clients, ensuring their understanding and comfort throughout the treatment process.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate stretching exercises, relaxation techniques, lifestyle recommendations, and home-care advice to support long-term wellness, recovery, and injury prevention.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in understanding clients’ needs and developing long-term wellness plans for them.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt communication style to suit individual client needs and preferences.
