Are you a highly motivated and experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse looking for your next position with flexible rostering options? Campbelltown Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Scrub Scout, Anaesthetics and Recovery Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative Team on a casual basis. You will play a key role within a caring and supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided. About us Campbelltown Private Hospital is a purpose built private hospital located in Park Central, the ever-growing medical hub of Campbelltown. Our modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres, 48 Surgical beds, 15 bed Day Surgery Unit and 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit. We offer excellent employee conditions with extensive support, professional development and future leadership opportunities. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse -responsibilities will include:

Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation Deliver evidence based nursing care Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only) Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology

Essential Criteria:

Current Registration with AHPRA 18 months' minimum experience as an RN - Scrub Scout Working with Children check (if relevant) Commitment to Quality Patient Care Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Works well independently and within a team Basic computer skills
