Exciting permanent full-time and part-time opportunities are now available at Epworth Freemasons in East Melbourne. Working within a well-established VMO (Visiting Medical Officer) model, you'll be part of a dynamic surgical environment featuring 12 theatres and the support of a 24-hour ICU.

This role offers exposure to a broad and diverse range of specialties, including:

Adult and paediatric surgery

General surgery

Gynaecology and maternity services

Urology

ENT and maxillofacial

Orthopaedics

Endoscopy

Plastics

You'll have the opportunity to build your skills across multiple disciplines while contributing to high-quality patient care in a leading private healthcare setting.

You will make an impact by:

Planning, reviewing and implementing patient anaesthetics and recovery care

Recognising and responding to changing needs of the patient

Applying a safety-first mindset that sees a positive patient experience outcome

If you are a registered nurse (RN) seeking a position in a supportive and collaborative perioperative environment, this opportunity may be for you. You should possess strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and have a natural ability to show compassion and empathy towards patients. Additionally, you will benefit from being part of a dedicated and experienced leadership team.

You will have:

Anaesthetics or PACU experience

Current unrestricted AHPRA Nursing registration

Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM, PM and twilight shifts

Broad experience gained across a variety of surgical specialties

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses - AUD AUD $85,732- $107,669 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position-experience (prorated for part-time).
