As a Grade 2 Registered Nurse you’ll play avital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents. This hands-on leadership position involves guiding a team of personal care workers and delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care.

What We’re Looking For

A genuine passion for aged care and commitment to best practice. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Proficient computer literacy and a professional, compassionate approach. Key Selection Criteria (KSC)

1. Qualifications and Compliance

Current AHPRA registration. Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards. A valid National Police Check (dated within two months) or willingness to obtain. Permanent residency or Australian citizenship (sponsorship not available) Applicants must currently reside in Australia to be considered. 2. Skills and Experience

Proven ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and lead a team. Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reporting skills. Proficiency in de-escalation techniques. 3.Technical Proficiency

Familiarity with aged care software systems. Solid understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) and compliance requirements. 4. Personal Attributes

Empathy, professionalism, and a collaborative team-focused mindset. Experience Required: min 1 year in a relevant role

Visa Sponsorship: Nomination for a temporary work visa and/or Permanent Residency will be considered for eligible candidates.

Duties:

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in line with professional standards Work collaboratively with other health professionals to coordinate resident care Provide treatments, administer medications, and monitor responses to care plans Lead and support care staff, ensuring safe and professional practice Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff, providing information and support about care and treatment Promote health and wellbeing, and contribute to illness prevention activities Ensure safe medication management and adherence to facility standards Supervise and coordinate Enrolled Nurses and care staff Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain ongoing professional development PLEASE NOTE: Only successful candidates will receive a reply.
