We are seeking a compassionate and committed Registered Midwives to join our maternity team and provide high quality, woman centred care across the continuum of pregnancy, birth and postnatal services. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive clinical environment where evidence based practice, collaboration and respect for women and families are central to everything we do.

As a Registered Midwife, you will bring strong clinical expertise, sound judgement and excellent communication skills to support women through antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. You will work collaboratively with obstetric, neonatal and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, culturally responsive and holistic care for women, babies and their families. The role will suit someone who demonstrates professionalism, adaptability and a genuine commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.

What you will bring to the role

Current registration as a Registered Midwife Division 1 with AHPRA.

Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in Midwifery.

Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing-midwifery care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.

Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.

Demonstrated effective communication written and verbal skills.

Demonstrated commitment to professional development.

Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
