Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Qualified Welder / Assembly Worker to join their manufacturing team in Yatala. This is a casual role offering full-time hours (8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday), with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position after 6 months. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be involved in welding, assembly, fabrication support, and general production duties.

Key Responsibilities

MIG welding and fabrication work Assembly of industrial products and equipment Reading and interpreting workshop drawings Measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, and general workshop duties Operating hand and power tools Packing and preparing products for dispatch Assisting with sandblasting, powder coating, and paint preparation Maintaining a safe and organised work area

What You'll Need

Cert II Engineering (Welding) or Cert III Engineering (Fabrication Trade/Boilermaking) Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, fabrication, metal mechanics, or carpentry Strong MIG welding skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings LF Forklift Licence highly desirable Driver's Licence and reliable transport Strong work ethic and commitment to safety Reliable work history and attention to detail Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Yatala
