Job description

Sunshine Cabinetry, a custom timber joinery workshop on the Sunshine Coast, is seeking a fully qualified Joiner. This is a complete joinery trade role spanning design, machining, fabrication and installation. The successful applicant will design joinery in Mozaik/CAD, then cut, shape, assemble and install custom timber work for residential and builder projects. Scope of joinery work

Fitted and built-in joinery (wall units, shelving, storage, built-ins) Doors, door frames and window frames Stairs, balustrades and timber components Bench joinery and cabinetry elements within joinery fit-outs Custom one-off timber fittings

Key duties

Interpret drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures Design and detail joinery in Mozaik (or comparable CAD/joinery software); generate cut lists and machining files Select and prepare timber and engineered wood materials; set out layouts Cut, shape, joint and assemble timber components Assemble prepared timber into structures and fittings ready for installation Verify accuracy and finish; install completed joinery on site

Essential criteria

Recognised trade qualification as a Joiner (Certificate III in Joinery or equivalent; overseas qualifications assessed by Trades Recognition Australia accepted) Demonstrated CAD / Mozaik joinery design experience (or equivalent design software) Minimum 3 years' joinery experience Ability to read and produce technical drawings and cut lists Own hand tools and reliable transport

Desirable criteria

CNC machining / nesting experience Experience across custom renovations and builder fit-outs
